I got an email back from AT&T yesterday telling me that U-Verse was unavailable at our new house. I wanted them to check if I could get any internet. That was my second internet attempt. I called and talked to AT&T again today just clarifying that U-Verse and DSL were not the same, they aren’t. The lady I spoke with today “added” my address and is going to have it checked for DSL. Frankly, I will believe it when I see it. The crazy thing is we have a phone pole on our property. I don’t understand why this is so difficult. Going from cable internet speeds to DSL would be a bummer, don’t get me wrong, but it would save me from very expensive wireless or satellite internet. It would also save me from having to monitor how much we use the internet. I should know in 3-5 days what is available, but I have heard that before. We will see…
